Wij nodigen je graag uit voor het afsluitende symposium van het project Sports in Prison, a Plan for the Future (SPPF).

‘Sports in Prison, a Plan for the Future’ is een Erasmus + project dat zich richt op de ontwikkeling van goede sportprogramma’s met een sterkere verbinding tussen de ‘buitenwereld’ en de wereld binnen de gevangenismuren.

De afgelopen drie jaar hebben we samen met onze partners hard gewerkt om sportprogramma’s in gevangenissen beter te begrijpen en te onderzoeken hoe deze programma’s kunnen bijdragen aan sociale integratie.

Tijdens het symposium worden de resultaten van het SPPF-project aan een internationaal publiek voorgesteld. De resultaten omvatten de onderzoekspublicaties, alsook de ontwikkeling, het testen en de implementatie van de ‘learning areas’ en de evaluatie daarvan. Daarnaast zal er dieper ingegaan worden op de toolkit en de beleidsaanbevelingen.

Het symposium zal interactieve methoden integreren om informatie te delen en zal deelnemers actief betrekken om hun visie op de projectresultaten te horen.

We are excited to invite you to the closing symposium of the Sports in Prison, a Plan for the Future (SPPF) project.

‘Sports in Prison, a Plan for the Future’ is an Erasmus + project that focuses on the development of good sports programmes with a stronger connection between the ‘outside world’ and the world inside the prison walls.

The past three years we’ve been working together with our partners to better understand sports programs in prisons, and in particular how these programs can contribute to social integration.

During the symposium the results of the SPPF project will be presented to an international audience. The results include the research publications, as well as the development, testing and implementation of the learning areas and the evaluation thereof. In addition, time will be made to present the toolkit and policy recommendations. The symposium will integrate interactive methods to provide information to the participants, and actively involve them to hear their perspective about the project results.
